Gordon, Joan Margaret was born in 1929 in Adlestrop. Daughter of John Andrew Gordon and Alice Margaret Phillips. She married Phillip Arnold Nicks in 1958 in North Cotswold, Gloucestershire. She appears on the electoral rolls for 1955-1958. She died in October 2015 in Kingham, Oxfordshire. See Photographs.

Gordon, John Andrew was born 4 November 1899 in Wavetree, Liverpool, Merseyside. Son of Andrew John Gordon and Elizabeth Cook. He married Alice Margaret Phillips in 1921 in Adlestrop. He appears on the 1901 census for East Hatley, Cambridgeshire; 1911 for Leagrave, Bedfordshire. He appears on the electoral rolls for 1923-1932; 1955-1977. He lived at Rectory Farm during WW1, 9 Main Street and, from 1969, 4 Main Street. He died 6 July 1977 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and is buried in the graveyard at Adlestrop. See Photographs.
