Marriott

Marriott, Edmund Chase was born in 1825 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Son of George Wharton Marriott and Selina Anne Marriott. He married Louisa Agnes Praed in 1856 in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. He appears on the 1851 census for Illogan, Cornwall; 1871 for Adlestrop; 1881 for Brompton, Kensington, London; 1891 for Speldhurst, Kent. He appears on the electoral rolls for 1865-1873. On 11 June 1867, he was appointed Havenor and Keeper of the Ports and Foreshores of the Duchy of Cornwall. He lived at Adlestrop House. He died in 1898 in Tonbridge, Kent.

Marriott, Fanny Charlotte was christened 11 May 1852 in Eton, Buckinghamshire. Daughter of Wharton Booth Marriott and Julia. She appears on the 1861 census for Christchurch, Hampshire; 1871 for Adlestrop; 1881 for Brompton, Kensington, London; 1891 for Applethwaite, Westmorland. She lived at Adlestrop with her uncle, Edmund Chase Marriott. She died 5 November 1896 in Tonbridge, Kent.
