Shayler, Ann(ii) was the daughter of John(i) Shayler and Ann. She married John(ii) Ragg 9 November 1756.

Shayler, Ann(iii) married Thomas Wood of Ambroseden, Oxfordshire 27 February 1764 in Adlestrop.

Shayler, Frances(i) was christened 28 April 1685. Daughter of John Shayler.

Shayler, Frances(ii) was christened 23 May 1717. Daughter of John(i) Shayler and Martha.

Shayler, Hester was christened 20 March 1699. Daughter of John Shayler and Elizabeth.

Shayler, James was born in 1885 in Leafield, Oxfordshire. Son of James George Shayler and Mary Ann Townsend. He married Emily Ellen Rogers in 1907 in Towcester, Northamptonshire. He appears on the 1891 census for Whichwood, Oxfordshire; 1901 for Adlestrop; 1911 for Whittlebury, Northamptonshire. He was a waggoner on a farm. He died in 1950 in Towcester, Northamptonshire.

Shayler, James George was born 21 August 1864 in Leafield, Oxfordshire. Son of Lot Shayler and Zilpah Pratley. He married Mary Ann Townsend in 1885 in Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire. He appears on the 1871 & 1881 census for Leafield, Oxfordshire; 1891 for Whichwood, Oxfordshire; 1901 for Adlestrop; 1911 for Whittlebury, Northamptonshire. He appears on the electoral rolls for 1902. He was a farm bailiff. He died 28 May 1931 in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

Shayler, Jane was christened 30 January 1697. Daughter of John Shayler.

Shayler, John(i) was christened 28 April 1682. Son of John Shayler. He married 1)Martha; 2)Ann. He was a husbandman. He died intestate. On 17 May 1733, his daughter Frances(ii) Shayler and her siblings John(ii), Richard and Ann chose Richard Chandler and William Simonds to be their legal guardians.

Shayler, John(ii) was christened 24 October 1725. Son of John(i) Shayler and Ann. Godfather of Charles Beman. He appears on the Land Tax Redemption lists for 1798. £3 5s was raised in tax on property owned by Lady Caroline(ii) Leigh, and £63 14s on property owned by James Henry Leigh - both properties occupied to some degree by John(ii) Shayler. He wrote a will in 1803, directing that £30 should be given to the Rector and Churchwardens of Adlestrop to invest, with the annual interest being spent on bread to give to the poor of Adlestrop on Christmas day - for ever. He died 20 October 1803 in Adlestrop.

Shayler, John(iii) married Mary Tubb 23 December 1788.

Shayler, Margaret(i) was christened 16 January 1702. Daughter of John Shayler and Elizabeth.

Shayler, Margaret(ii) was christened 6 April 1733. Daughter of Richard Shayler. She died 26 June 1739.

Shayler, Mary was christened 14 August 1688. Daughter of John Shaylor.

Shayler, Mary Ann see Townsend, Mary Ann

Shayler, Percy Samuel was born 14 September 1884 in Charlbury, Oxfordshire. Son of Charles Shayler and Eleanor Bowell. He married Sara K. Court in 1923 in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. He appears on the 1891 & 1901 censuses for Charlbury, Oxfordshire; 1911 for Kings Norton, Worcestershire, where he was a police constable. He was employed by GWR from January 1901 at Charlbury station, then from 21 December 1903 as a porter at Adlestrop station, before moving to Moreton in Marsh station. He resigned in November 1908. He died in 1949 in Martley, Worcestershire.

Shayler, Richard was christened 12 May 1683. Son of Joe Shayler.
