Wallis, Evelyn Ann was born in 1890 in Chitterne, Wiltshire. Daughter of Frederick Buckeridge Wallis and Ellen Ann Bartlett. She appears on the 1891 census for Chitterne, Wiltshire; 1901 for Kintbury, Berkshire; 1911 census for Adlestrop, working as a governess for Philip Edward Bomford at Fern Farm.
